Faculty
Rabbi Elie Weinstock, the Dean of JYC, is Associate Rabbi at KJ and a member of theTalmud faculty at the Ramaz Middle School. A veteran of both formal and informal educational programs and a Yeshiva University graduate, he received Rabbinic ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary and a Masters in Jewish Philosophy from the Bernard Revel Graduate School.
Tzivia Kramer, JYC’s Educational Director, has been working in the field of education for the past six years and has experience working with special need students, learning difficulties, developmental issues, speech delays and other disabilities ranging from the age of three to high school. She has a degree in Judaic Studies from Lander College for Women.
JYC employs a large staff of professional educators as well as music, art, and language specialists. We also have a devoted team of over 30 Big Brothers and Sisters who are university students as well as professionals in education and other fields. Our school is committed to giving each student the attention s/he requires. All of our staff has extensive knowledge in Hebrew Language as well as the laws and customs of Judaism as well as experience working with children.
